Who DietiDesk is for
DietiDesk is software for qualified health professionals, such as clinical dietitians and doctors, and for students working under their supervision. It is not made for patients or the public to diagnose or treat themselves.
Not medical advice
Nothing on this website or in the DietiDesk app is medical or nutritional advice for any individual. Using DietiDesk does not create a doctor–patient or dietitian–patient relationship between you and DietiDesk.
Calculations and food data
The calculators use published equations that give estimates. Their results depend on the information you enter and may not suit every patient or clinical condition. Food and recipe values are averages and can differ from the food actually eaten. Check every result before you use it for a patient.
The AI assistant
AI answers are support for a professional, not medical advice. They must be checked before any clinical use.
- The AI assistant (on the Pro plan and during the free trial) writes its answers automatically using an artificial intelligence model (Google Gemini). No person reviews an answer before you see it.
- An answer can be wrong, incomplete or out of date, and can sound confident even when it is wrong. Check it against current clinical guidelines, reliable references and the patient's full clinical picture before you rely on it.
- Answers in the app are marked as written by AI. Treat them as a starting point for your own professional judgement.
- Do not type anything that identifies a patient (name, phone number, civil ID, file number or email) into the assistant. DietiDesk does not store your questions or the answers; see the Privacy Policy.
Your professional responsibility
You remain fully responsible for every clinical decision you make, and for following the laws, professional standards and guidelines that apply where you work.
Emergencies
DietiDesk is not for emergencies. In a medical emergency in Kuwait, call 112, or your local emergency number elsewhere.
No approval or certification
DietiDesk has not been approved, registered or certified by any health authority, and it is not presented as a medical device.
Liability, changes and contact
The limits of our liability are set out in the Terms of Use, which include this disclaimer. If we make a material change to this page, we will show a notice on the website at least 14 days before it takes effect. Questions: support@dietidesk.com.
